  Batman Begins star Christian Bale was hailed a real-life hero over the Christmas (11) holidays after stepping in to break up a fight between two homeless men in California. The actor was shopping near his home in Brentwood, Los Angeles when he spotted two vagrants engaged in a heated altercation. The war of words escalated and Bale had to swoop in and intervene.
