Despite the the futuristic look and feel of Batman, he still no matter what form he takes, always comes up as one of the best heroes to follow. No super powers, just the determination and intelligence to put down what ever is put in front of him. It is also fitting, though through no fault of his own that Bruce Wayne's son would take up the mantle of Batman and eventually defeat his arch nemesis once and for all.

I used to watch Batman Beyond series on Cartoon Network as a youngster, and this was a fitting ending to the series (as it came on as a feature length back then)

if you are like me and into your batman, you will know all about the beyond series, therefore this is definitely a watch, if not and you still like your comic book heroes and random plots, then it may be worth having a little look in over some popcorn or nachos.

it is easy going and extremely easy to follow so wont need your full attention.

for a cartoon suited for kids this is definitely a good shot as to what happened with the joker! nice work, more would be ncie (i hope they do a beyond movie!)

  • Batman in the future, still fighting the Joker

Batman is set in the future, he's lost his cape and has some power boots.

It is a great story and one can tell the Japanese animation influence.

Definitely worth watching if you are a fan of the 90s Batman animation (Dark Knight series); it builds on the series there and I'm not spoiling it by telling you that the Joker is still fighting Batman.

The story is 1hr and 10, so a good 50mins longer than most of the episodes in the Dark Knight series and on the whole the interest is maintained. The first fight scene is very well done; it sags about 20mins in, but after that it is an engaging and well animated story

Watching it online via the lf streaming worked on the whole but buffered once or twice.

Joker (Mark Hamill) is back from the dead and he has only one thing on his mind, the death of Batman. Terry McGinnis (Will Friedle) will face his toughest test ever as he tries to figure out Joker's plan and what happened between Joker and the original Batman that Bruce Wayne (Kevin Conroy) doesn't seem to want to share.

Ok, so that was a short sum up of the film, here are my thoughts. First thing is that there are two versions of this animated movie, uncut version and normal. The uncut has about seven extra minutes of footage, mainly more fight scenes and disturbing scenes. I found that the movie overall was quite dark, Joker seems to be hell bent on destroying Batman once and for all. The story is great and perhaps even one you could find in an live action movie, voice acting is superb as ever; Mark Hamill is on top form as the clown prince of crime and the fight scenes are super...the one's that weren’t cut that is. But don’t let that put you off because this film is just right for a Batman Beyond fan.

    Story: 8/10

    Visuals: 9/10

    Voice Acting: 9/10

    Action: 9/10

    Music: 7/10

    Overall: 9.5/10
