A joy to watch. I grew up watching the Batman cartoons, and this DVD did not disappoint. Mark Hamill is excellent as The Joker. Every episode is good, although this DVD is disappointing in the way of extras; there aren't many at all. Great cartoon action though.
Excellent addition to the Batman series, following on from the dark, gothic mood of the first two movies the action is kept thick and fast with fantastic villains.....the Joker most notably
this a movie for kids and batman fan only!!!
The 1992 Animated series of Batman is a true masterpiece of entertainment!!! Although an animated TV show, this incarnation of Batman is not just for kids. The Dark Knight finally returns more like his comic book roots as a detective as well as ass-kicking hero. The production values are really high and the traditional cel-shade animation looks better than many newer cartoons.
On top of the overall fantastic quality of the animation, the stories are well written and the voice acting is superb with many great names (most notably Mark Hamil as The Joker).
A truly great series and the only thing spoiling this DVD is that there is only a handful of episodes on this disk and this series would really benefit from a complete series boxset release.
pOOR thats all i can say

My 5 year old loves this. Its classic style rather than the newer batman thats on kids tv but my boy prefers this. Pepare yourself for the jumping around afterwards. Might buy it or rent again.
All my youngsters watched this. Ages, 3, 5, 9, and 11.

I was always impressed with the animated series of batman. I always thought that it managed to portray some of the dark side of batman without being aimed at an adult only market.
The adventures of bruce wayne as the batman and his crime fighting in gotham city.
Good animation with fantastic music from the first tim burton film with a slightly dark side to the adventures which is how batman is a person with two personalties one by night and another by day
this disc is some of the episodes of series one and not in production order.
My son 5 year old was little bit scared. Will rent this out at a later date.
The animation is of a particular style which dominated tv comic adaptions for a few years. nothing wrong with it but the effect works with art deco style to the buildings and vehicles used, reminds me of original Batman art work.
The stories are ok but was expecting a bit more in the connection between each episode. there did not seem to be any thread running through. Taken individually the stories are good with something to tell.
