the batman animated series was made on the back of the sucess of tim burtens batman movies . in a lot of ways its better than its live action counterparts . the only gripe i have with the dvd is that it only has 4 episodes on it which id fine if your renting it but not if your buying it .

Mediocre
A strange collection of 4 episodes. In the very short extras, the commentator admits that these episodes are very much about the show finding it's feet and not quite being there yet. Still, 2 of the episodes are OK, the joker episode, and 'POV', which features Bullock & Montoya.
