CLEAN FUN

Having seen this so many years ago i'd forgotten about many classic scenes.

The movie is set in 1966 Gotham City. Batman/Bruce Wayne{Adam West} & Robin/Dick Grayson{ Burt Ward} must protect the city when Commadore Schmidlap's private yacht has been infiltrated by escaped super-criminals: The Joker{ Caesar Romero}, The Penguin{ Burgess Meredith}, The Riddler{ Frank Gorshin} & Catwoman{ Lee Meriweather}. Basically without giving too much away: Catwoman poses as reporter for the Russian Bugle named Kitka who will seduce Bruce Wayne into her trap. Meanwhile, The Penguin has perfected dehydration machine which can turn people into dust. There plan? To take over the world. The Penguin, The Riddler & Catwoman are the real brains behind the movie while despite his superb performance, Caesar Romero's The Joker just jumps around laughing and dosen't really get to do anything else: but don't let this put you off. This full-lengh version of the cornie but greatly humurous 60's show is a must.

If you don't like this the chances are you probably didn't grow up with the show like me{ either that or it's just too young nowadays} whatever your take on the film i'd highly reccomend it. ****
