A true story, well captured

A very good film, portraying both sides of the Japanese culture from opposing sides of the battle. The usual 'gung-ho' Americans brought down to earth by a miniscule amount of Japanese. Good battle scenes, although a bit lacking in 'blood and guts' if you pardon the expression, for my liking but it did not stop me enjoying the film.- Was this review helpful to you?
