The worst film ive ever seen

Considering what a classic the original was, its a shame they had to push out this pile of absolute pap.
The original had a grounded ending, I didnt expect the survivors to 'wage war against adults' and set up their own terrorist nation. *sigh*
Hence the Battle Royale 2 act, wherin they take a bunch of faceless cookie cutter kids you couldnt give a stuff about (as opposed to the great characters of the original) and send them in to fight. Except their collars are linked to one another, so if one days, their partner dies. Way to halve your attacking army - for no reason other than to be different from the first flick.
Takashi's fabulous teacher form the original is replaced by some of the most ham fisted acting you've ever seen with the new guy, who seemingly chews drugs, for no other reason that to be 'quirky'. The irony being he later in the film gives an incredible speech, well acted, dramatic but ...but ... in a rugby kit?!?!!
The young lad from the original reads his lines like he's quoting Shakespeare too, more the shame.
Ring 2 runs with the ball in the opposite direction, goes madder and works a treat in contrast to the original film. Battle Royale 2 is just plain awful. Avoid. Or watch the original again.- Was this review helpful to you?

This film is Great. But why are the so many Haters?

I did prefer the first there was more of a story to it but i liked this one too it was good had some great action. with the look of it there could be another. Im not the kinda person who will just hate a film cause it wasnt like the last and me i actually give this 5/5 that is my opinion i would say this is a great watch and people will enjoy it.- Was this review helpful to you?

Avoid at all cost!

Many of the scenes were almost like a carton with limbs cut off and flying in all directions. This is a very disappointed sequel and I gave up after 30 minutes. It opened up fine but it was all downhill after the beach scene.- Was this review helpful to you?

Worth the watch only..

Otherwise some of the plot won't make any sense to you.
Granted even without watching the first one in my opinion it will deffinatly be an enjoyable film.
For me some of the characters are a bit more annoying then that in the first, and the plot isn't as good as the first.
