Battle Warrior

Tony Jaa (star of the critically Ong-Bak & Warrior King) is the leader of the Panter Squad - a group of martial arts madmen employed by a notorious General and Cartel kingpin on the border of Thailand and The Golden Triangle. They have kidnapped a noted Explorer who has been searching for an ancient priceless artefact that the General is desperate to find and profit from.

A team of ruthless mercenaries leads a crack team to free the Explorer, crush the General and Jaa’s deadly Panther squad. But before doing so they must overcome the fearsome Black Goblins and the crazed Kung Fu Zombies.

Battle Warrior is packed with crazy martial arts from start to finish, and with Tony Jaa, features one of cinema’s greatest ever action stars.

    Warrior King this ain't!!!!

I'm a big Tony Jaa fan. I thought Ong-Bak and Warrior King were phenomenal! so obviously when i came across this title I was excited at the prospect of more of the same action. Unfortunately, Tony Jaa doesn't have a huge part in this, and therefore does not give us a lot of action. The film is not the worst I've seen, but it doesn't stand out in the crowd of low budget asian martial arts films. Some of the fight sequences are quite good, don't get me wrong, but the acting is a little poor. If you're drawn to this title because of Tony Jaa, I wouldn't bother. I made the same mistake with Spirited Warrior - another pre 'ong-bak' film in which Jaa has a tiny part but they sell it with him on the cover!!

    I wouldn't bother with it!

    what a disappointment

As a fan of tony jaa, famous and excellent for the films ong-bak and warrior king, this film was a joke and i found it hard to sit and watch. He was hardly in it and when he was it didn't show his talent at all.

    Very disapppointed!
