Battlestar started off as a snuff film (4.5 stars)
Finally the've put philosophical intelligence back into science fiction - and it's been a while. Excellent casting, sterling performances, stunning visuals, a cryptic plot, and good chemistry between the characters, sets this version of Battleship Galactica light years ahead of its predecessor. The more you watch the more you are drawn in. The robots are scarier - humanities plight more precarious - and the episodes are all part of a grander scheme - this is compulsory viewing - particularly for space buffs.

Excellent
If you want intelligent and exciting science fiction, the new Battlestar Galactica has both intelligence and excitement in spades. Much better than the modern Star Treks etc.
