Battlestar started off as a snuff film (4.5 stars)
Finally the've put philosophical intelligence back into science fiction - and it's been a while. Excellent casting, sterling performances, stunning visuals, a cryptic plot, and good chemistry between the characters, sets this version of Battleship Galactica light years ahead of its predecessor. The more you watch the more you are drawn in. The robots are scarier - humanities plight more precarious - and the episodes are all part of a grander scheme - this is compulsory viewing - particularly for space buffs.

Really brilliant mix of drama, action, adventure!
Great stuff - better than expected - and I expected a lot! Actors and actresses are well chosen. Its easy to get absorbed into this - well worth watching!
Make sure you watch the Mini-series before this series, it will really help you catchup.
