[Highly rated reviewer]Warning - Disc 6 is called 'The Story so Far' and is just a recap of Series 1 & 2 of the show - absolutely pointlesss when you've just watched discs 1-5 of Season 3!!!
The rest of Season 3 is excellent - no complaints there!!

Starts Good, Middle Kinda Boring, Ends ExcelentBy Razorsedge1988 (11 reviews) from Gloucester , 06 Sep 2009i was kinda not impressed by this series to begin with as i didnt think it was as good as series 2 but the final few episodes saved it with so many twist and turns. Just excellent.
Falls apart halfway throughBy RKK (5 reviews) from London , 09 Jul 2009What started off as both an exciting and intriguing continuation of this superb re-imagining of the 70's s/f TV show falls apart halfway through. The series begins with the humans trapped on Cylon-occupied New Caprica, where we left them at the end of Season Two. The resolution of this predicament, which takes us about halfway through the season, works well, and there's some interesting speculative moments afterwards, as Baltar finds himself working with the Cylons.
Then, this season falls apart, as episode after episode runs like a bad soap-opera, where we delve far too much into the interpersonal lives of the crew members and their pasts, none of which I care much about and certainly none of which moves the story forward at all. It's as though the writers ran out of story and had to write about seven or eight episodes of filler. Granted, it picks up a bit in the final few episodes, and some interesting plot turns take us to the Season Finale cliff-hanger, but it took far too long to get there, and way too much was demanded of the viewer with too little pay off. I hope this series finds its feet again with Season Four.
