Battlestations Ahoy!

Excellent war game. You can be a plane, ship or submarine and you can battle yourself against the Japanese or the Americans. The graphics are worth taking a look at they are just stunning especially when you fly your plane too close to the water. (19)Hugely satisfying if you invest the time
By Rugose (3 reviews) from Sidmouth , 12 Sep 2010I have been playing this for 3 years and still love it. I've bought the disk twice. Some guys I know have bought it 3 times. Multiplayer is where its at its best. If you like strategic thought, build up of tension and are prepared to spend a couple of hours learning the ropes by doing the naval acafemy(tutorial - IMHO essential) you will uncover a gem of a game that will delight you during the few months it takes to master. If you have the attention span of a gnat,little patience and a thirst for graphics over depth of play then this is not for you. The best players in this game tend to be guys over 40 years old.- Was this review helpful to you?

I never thought microsoft could embarass themselves as much as they have done with this game. What a waste of a perfectly good rental- Was this review helpful to you?

By a customer from Paisley , 15 Jan 2009that guys totally right you either love it or hate it I downloaded the demo and hated it but when I rented it out and done the tutorial and realized how to properly play it I love it now except for the submarine challenges they last forever cause the sub goes so slow and then your left with no torpedos and your screwed
the storylines not to bad
the graphics are good
the length of the game doesnt really last too long I rented it and ive got 2 missions left to do
the xboxlive gameplay is good althow some times unfair as I feel that on some maps that either the japanese have the advantage or the americans have the advantage theres not many maps that have a equal chance for both sides but all in all a good game- Was this review helpful to you?
