Light hearted entertainment

Battling for Baby is a light hearted film. Easy to watch. Anyone who is a parent will be able relate to the characters. Actually anyone who is a grandparent will relate to this film!!! Courtney Cox plays her part well. More of a chick flick!- Was this review helpful to you?

What a waste of talent
By a customer from Leeds , 03 Jun 2005Just goes go show how important the supporting cast is. Debbie Reynolds and Suzanne Plechette have produced some decent work in the past, but this was a complete waste of their time. Hope they were well paid for it, because it could to their reputations irreparable damage.
The story line could have led to an amusing hour or so. Instead, I cringed when 'son' delivered his lines, and 'wife' wasn't much better. Fry up some eggs to go with that ham.
'Baby' was a natural actor, though, as all babies are.
On the plus side, the music was good, even though the two grandmothers were most unconvincing in their performances.
As a film, it would have made a half way reasonable read. As a film - well, the costumes were interesting!- Was this review helpful to you?
