what a film!!!By rhiannono123 (3 reviews) from blackwood , 23 Mar 2009if you love a good cry this film is a must!!!!. this great friendship formed by C.C and Hilary sees them through many of lifes ups and downs... marriiage break ups, carrer building, the personally changes that comes with fame arent enough to spilt this true friendship apart and when it came down to it C.C was ready to step into the reins for her best friend. the combination of bette midler and barbara hershey was fantastic you honestly believed they'd been friends all their lives. but what really sets this film on fire was bette midlers singing her voice really can send shivers up your spine.
this film never fails to please. even after watching it as many times as i have i have never been able to watch it without a smile on my face or without crying. Loved every minute of this its a film that never ages.

THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Show review anywayHideI absolutely love this film and have done for years. I think that was the hundredth time ive watched it. About 2 best friends who meet when they are 8years old and they both have very different lives. They keep in touch by letters over the years until they finally meet up again in their twentys. They go through alot together. In the end one of them dies and it is just so sad. A very good weepy film to watch with your girly pals x
