Engaging characters and songs

Our son - who is 2 and a half - has loved Bear in the Big Blue House for about a year now, we have the CD of all the songs from the first series. The songs are amazingly well written for a children's programme. In this DVD there are some corkers - like 'Good Morning to the Sun'. The stories in this collection are funny and, of course, have a moral for children to think about! They tell the tales of a big Bear who lives with two otters, a mouse and some other woodland creatures. Each animal has different characteristics to help children learn about things like pride, fear, sharing, valuing everyone - etc. All a bit 'American' perhaps but good at heart.- Was this review helpful to you?

I'm thinking my daughter maybe a little too young for the programme but she was completely transfixed!
If she's as impressed on the other I've ordered, I'll probably buy the series.
This rental service is pure brilliant for checking out titles. Gone are the days of buying discs only to find out they're better off in the garbage!!!- Was this review helpful to you?

A clasic series for children
