Beautiful People. Series Two. Laugh Out Loud Hilarity
By sh4161 (406 reviews) from Wigan, Lancashire, England , 04 May 2010[Highly rated reviewer]
This series, along with series one, is one of the funniest television comedies for a long, long time.
It is the 'true-ish' story of two young adolescent boys, growing up 'differently' than other boys around them in 1990's Reading, with one of the boys belonging to a rather strange - but great - family.
If you are a fan of comedies such as:
'Gimme, Gimme, Gimme'
or
'Absolutely Fabulous'
then you will love this show.
I only hope that another series is in the making !!!- Was this review helpful to you?

(3)ALMOST AS FUNNY AS SERIES 1
By OscarFreak (417 reviews) from London , 06 Jun 2010The BBC should be praised that series 2 is almost as funny as the first series which was exceptional. The acting of the ensemble cast was a joy to watch and like series one found myself laughing out loudly at times, a must see disc.- Was this review helpful to you?

Good, light-hearted, funny entertainment banishing the taboos
By a customer from London, England , 02 Apr 2010Good light-hearted entertainment, taking a break from endless talent shows on TV. Funny, light-hearted, yet with a serious angle, hopefully banishing some taboos- Was this review helpful to you?
