the first movie i wanted to walk out of in a long time...By a customer from Bishop's Stortford , 19 Dec 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]i know it's a kids movie, but normally i love kids movies! this film was just terrible, so ridiculous in every way that it stopped being funny and just provoked feelings of hatred towards the creators... the scene that really did it for me was when lots of bees managed to carry a jumbo jet so that it landed safely, then the bees miraculously pollinate all of new york- which is great - but what about the rest of the world?? They tried to mix tongue in cheek adult comedy with children's comedy, and where that has worked in the past (like Shrek), this one completely failed.
It had the potential to be quite a good film, but in comparison to films like Shrek and Finding Nemo it doesn't stand a chance

Better kids movies out thereBy AndyM70 (2 reviews) , 17 Nov 2013Thought it may be one the kids would enjoy. They did watch it but never asked again for it like Shrek, Finding Nemo or Ice Age. Animation is good but I found the story line didn't really work as either a kids movie or to entertain adults. Overall okay, but no comparison to the three previously mentioned titles.
I dont understandBy Nekozawa (3 reviews) , 04 Jul 2013
THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Show review anywayHideThis is possibly the weirdest, trippiest film I've ever seen, and I still don't really get the moral. Is it saying work and structure is good or bad? I just don't get it! Aside from the confusion, me and my friends were crying with laughter. It's best to watch with a bunch of other people and you can all laugh at it and pretend you're not really enjoying it ;)
Woody Allen in a Bee costume.By Riain (121 reviews) from Essex , 03 May 2012This is an ego-centric movie about a character (bee) who is finding out what he wants.
On his journey of discovery he comes close to bringing an end to all live on earth, which is significant but disappointingly is lost by the story-tellor without significance in the story.
Bee movie easy watchingBy a customer , 08 Mar 2012Saw the trailer and selected bee movie as a Sunday afternoon sofa movie with the little one - wasn't disappointed
