Batman director Tim Burton is to direct Jim Carrey in a biopic of the life of Robert Ripley. Film fans were left disappointed at the UK premiere of Herbie: Fully Loaded in London's Leicester Square last night. The film's leading actress, Lindsay Lohan, pulled out of her red carpet appearance at the last minute, due to family problems.
