My favourite new series for a while

What a triumph this little series is. Funny but with a dark edge, engaging story and likeable characters.

Initially not what I was expecting, less comedy and more serious drama, but still a very enjoyable/watchable series.
If you are trying to find something to watch, but are put off by the Sci-fi nature, don't worry, it really isn't that geeky.

Why did I wait so long?
By Nanna (17 reviews) from Prescot , 02 Jul 2011For some, very silly, reason, I decided not to watch this when it was on tv!! I, stupidly, started watching it during Series 3! So, I'm now 'catching up' with the first 2 series, rather late, but, after watching the first series, it has definitely been worth the wait.
What a fantastic series this is. Funny, sad, exciting and more - all focusing around the 'lives' (if such can be the word!) of a ghost, a vampire and a werewolf.
There is just one tiny little 'unlike' - in this day and age of CGI - could they not have made a 'better/more realistic' looking werewolf?
But, otherwise, well worth watching and I can't wait for the next series to drop through my letter-box!- Was this review helpful to you?

BBC DVD....

Fantastic series
