Well I disagree with the other reviews, the fight sequences were as good if not better than usual the action was almost all the way through the film. So what if the plot was predictable and the same old thing and so what if he has put on a bit of weight around the middle, he is after all bless him getting on a bit now. If you like Steven Segal films the way I do, you will enjoy it. Good on you Segal keep up the good work. I think it was brilliant. But I do not like the love and sex angle as this is just not Steven Segal. Though fortuately there was not very much of it.
Some fools have actually called this 'disappointing'! Seagal is now at the top of his game constantly, like as if Orson Welles had kept knocking out masterpiece after masterpiece instead of becoming complacent and fat. That ain't Seagal's style. Apart from the fat bit.
Critics, naysayers and people who are generally just jealous of Seagal's almost erotic grace and skill have remarked that all of the fight scenes in the movie are filmed fom the neck down because it's not actually Seagal fighting because he's so damn fat. Wrong! It's called an 'artistic decision'. Artists make them. And Seagal is an artist. There's some choice dialogue in this one, and a woman with a magic message written on her chest. Something for everyone, then. Marvellous.
