Brilliant!
By a customer from Northamptonshire, England , 03 Jan 2009[Highly rated reviewer]
Quite simply an amazing film.
Almost missed this one but I am so glad I didn't.
Don't be put off by the lack of subtitles, if it was dubbed you would lose so much of the acting, which is superb. A real insight into Autism, the world of online gaming and bullying.
Very cleverly filmed and, to my surprise, this captivated the whole family from the very start to the startling and unexpected ending.
In just one or two places you may wonder what's real and what's fantasy, but that's the point and all becomes clear in the end.
Enchanting.- Was this review helpful to you?

(42)Every Teenager Should See This Film
By ancora (6 reviews) , 16 Mar 2013Flemish teenagers are inherently sensible and concentrate on their education. The fact that Ben X was bullied in such a cruel way is shocking of itself. Teenagers (and parents) should be made to understand that some people are different but that does not make them wrong or give other people the right to make their lives hell. Could have been predictable but great ending.- Was this review helpful to you?

Good film ruined by rubbish ending
By RalphNeeworth (193 reviews) from Nottingham, England , 05 Jul 2012This film could have been a stone cold classic, it's realistic portrayal of an Aspberger's sufferer was brilliant but then the end oh god it's poor, it's ridicolous I won't ruin it for others but maybe just switch off before the last 20 minutes or so.- Was this review helpful to you?

Superb Flemish Film
By a customer , 20 Feb 2012This is a exceptionally good film. It's well acted, well directed, not flashy and makes its points very well. It's simple and effective. I would recommend this to anyone. It's not a mainstream film, but anyone would get a lot out of it if they watch non-English language films.- Was this review helpful to you?

A Masterpiece
By a customer , 11 Jan 2012A real insight into the daily struggles of a person with aspergers syndrome. It must be exhausting to be constantly learning what is to be 'normal'. A fantastic film. Thoroughly enjoyed it.- Was this review helpful to you?
