Simple Storytelling
By a customer from Leeds , 19 Oct 2009[Highly rated reviewer]
I sound like a bit of a stuck record in my continued opinion that 'Old is Gold' but here is yet another example of why I simply have to keep repeating this. This film needs no long list of stars or flashy song and dance routines. It's actually a remake of the Hitchcock classic, The Man Who Knew Too Much and has just a handful of characters and such a simple story but yet manages to keep you interested throughout the film. Excellent acting from Amitabh - he plays his character with conviction. The film is light on songs but does have the amazing Helen number that makes up for it. Well worth watching.- Was this review helpful to you?
