Fabulous!By a customer from Notting Hill, London , 17 Sep 2003
[Highly rated reviewer]I watched this film in America and it made me homesick, despite the fact this film is set on the Heathrow flight path. Just great! -- best British film of the past couple of years, and Keira Knightly is going to be a huge star.

enjoyed filmBy a customer , 26 May 2011Quite simple plot and very light hearted but funny at times. Most suitable for teens but a happy film to watch with the whole family. Full of trade marks of the director, lots of similarities with the film by the same director 'Bride and Prejudice'.
Not a thought provoking film though.
Entertaining family movieBy hankleto (9 reviews) from Birmingham , 25 May 2011Fantastic, entertaining,light-hearted, mild drama and shows how parents in looking out for their children may kill their dreams. Parminder Nagra and Keira Knightley were very good although only one of them made the A-star movie list. A film for the family that shows two cultures.
Bend it Like BeckhamBy a customer from kent , 08 Mar 2011I watched this with my 13 year old daughter and we loved it. I grew up in London so it was a very nostalgic film for me. Witty screenplay and some serious issues too but an overall feelgood-you-can-achieve-your-dreams movie. No harm it that. Nice one.
Truly BrilliantBy a customer from uk , 02 Feb 2011This is classic humour and brilliant acting, never tire of watching it. Good mix of cultural humour and a good story to boot
