Beowulf
An animated adventure for children and adults alike, Beowulf is an epic tale full of action, heroism, bravery and sacrifice. Beowulf tells the tale of a young Danish warrior called Beowulf who goes to the aid of King Hroagar and his people, who are attacked by a half-man half-monster named Grendel. A furious battle ensues and Beowulf emerges as the victor, although Grendel’s mother, an equally savage creature ambushes the men, beginning a battle in which many lives are lost. Returning victorious to his homeland Beowulf soon has another enemy to face, a dragon looking for it's lost treasure.

Captures the essence of the original story

Gore-blimey! Employing a similar CG-animated motion control process to 300, but a far superior script, Beowulf is hearty sword and sandal fare and more 3D effects than you can shake a stick at. If it's an option, you'll want to see Beowulf on an IMAX screen in 3D.
