Beowulf

An animated adventure for children and adults alike, Beowulf is an epic tale full of action, heroism, bravery and sacrifice. Beowulf tells the tale of a young Danish warrior called Beowulf who goes to the aid of King Hroagar and his people, who are attacked by a half-man half-monster named Grendel. A furious battle ensues and Beowulf emerges as the victor, although Grendel’s mother, an equally savage creature ambushes the men, beginning a battle in which many lives are lost. Returning victorious to his homeland Beowulf soon has another enemy to face, a dragon looking for it's lost treasure.

    American Gangster beats Beowulf to #1

    Ridley Scott's newest effort American Gangster has beaten Beowulf to the top of the UK box office chart. For the weekend beginning November 16th, American Gangster took approximately £2.56 million while Beowulf debuted with around £2.19 million, according to AC Nielsen data.
