An Interesting Noir Thriller

This early Reese Witherspoon film carries all the hallmarks of a great thriller; a good cast, it's well shot, and the storyline is enough to keep you guessing.
However, the pay off is a little weak, and I felt that the twist was revealed far too early, taking much of the fun out of it.

The direction could have been better tho to make it a touch more thrilling. Bizarrely this movie was budgeted at an incredible $7million.....it actually only made around $30 000 !- Was this review helpful to you?

Not a Bad flick

It does have a good twist and unlike some films you don't want to fast forward, keeps you locked in! I rate this as a good film but would only rent it!- Was this review helpful to you?

What a twist!
By a customer from Luton , 16 Jun 2006This is so good, because it always keeps you guessing, i was on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. The only reason i haven't given it 5 stars is because some of the casting was pretty poor, but not Reese Witherspoon who is brilliant as ever. You have to pay attention to this film if you wanna get whats going on. Thrilling in parts and definately not one for the youngsters.- Was this review helpful to you?
