Probably Eric Robert's Best Film...By Annie from Glasgow, Scotland , 15 Jul 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]..Which might not be saying much. However for fans of martial arts, this is a must see of the genre. A simple storyline, a group of misfits are pulled together as a team to represent America in competition. The men find honour, pride, and friendship. The fighting sequences, although a little far-fetched, are excellent.

First film reviewBy MickeyMouse3000 (299 reviews) from Dorset, England , 24 Feb 2012This seems to be more for fans of martial arts than general movie lovers like myself. I didn't think it was anything special to be honest, the drama wasn't as good as it could have been, there was no real build-up of the misfit team finding a way to work together. It just sort of happened. The action was generally just average, though I did really enjoy the final tournament. It was a bit cheesy at times too. I wouldn't recommend this, watch Karate Kid instead, they are excellent movies in my opinion and offer better story developement, better characters and drama.
Taekwondo at its bestBy Basil4952 (62 reviews) from Leeds, England , 10 Oct 2011The Orginal is a classic showing true taekwondo at its best. If you are a fan then 2,3 and 4 are ok to watch, but one will always be the best of the best of the best.
Awesome film!By BauerMustaine (5 reviews) from London , 10 Feb 2011This is an excellent martial arts film. As well as great fighting scenes, there is a really touching storyline climaxing in a lump-in-the-throat ending.
Watch the frist twoBy aleccurtis (8 reviews) from Thetford , 08 Oct 20093 & 4 shouldn't have been made. Think No.2 is the best by a long way
