  Continuing the current trend for new additions to 1980's franchises, it has been announced that Eddie Murphy is to reprise his role as Axel Foley in a fourth Beverly Hills Cop film. According to Empire, the Nutty Professor star pitched the idea to Paramount execs, who were enthusiastic about the idea having just worked with Murphy on the forthcoming Nowhereland.
