Beyond the Fire

From tragedy comes a burning love, but can passion survive the torment of a sinister past? When Katie (Cara Seymour) meets a fellow rape survivor called Sheamy (Scot Williams) their relationship is jeopardised from the start due to Sheamy's state of denial, as well as other dark secrets he has buried for years. Filmstar magazine called "Beyond the Fire" a 'refreshingly un-histrionic look at sexual abuse within the priesthood', and the Guardian praised it for it's 'heart-on-sleeve emotionalism' and it's 'unironic belief in the power of love'.
