very good movie, whats up with all the idiots that left negative reviews for this movie, i read them and was not going to watch it, i am glad i did, it is a mix of supernatural and a thriller, a couple of good actors give true professional performances, it was very good i really enjoyed it, please watch it and make your own mind, for fools that gave negative i would love to know what movie they gave positive feedback to, at weekends no doubt they go to railway bridges with binoculars and spot trains.- Was this review helpful to you?

By a customer , 17 May 2013This could have been a good movie, but it seemed like they were trying too hard and things weren't really clicking. The music was a bit over the top and it seemed like it was trying to create some kind of suspense that wasn't there. Although there were some good actors, the acting was lackluster. Ok, but not as good as.......
By loonylinney (58 reviews) , 28 Mar 2013I found this film quite interesting, with a good performance by Jon Voigt (as was to be expected from such a veteran) and an interesting storyline, but it lacked that spark of something that has you sitting at the edge of your seat. Apart from Dermot Mulroney as the police captain, and the young girl, everyone else had a wooden quality to their acting. The tension between the girl's parents was non-existent and their emotions were unconvincing. I never felt drawn into the film enough to be sympathetic towards the worried mother or fearful for the child's life. Altogether a little disappointing, but not bad enough to turn off. If you want to see how it should be done, I would highly recommend 'A Lonely Place to Die' which will have your heart pumping and keep you guessing to the last scene.- Was this review helpful to you?

boring boring boring

The ending seemed to be chucked up as a last minute thought so much lead up to such a wet conclusion.
