Michel Gondry 'to direct the Green Hornet'

Michel Gondry has been signed up to direct superhero film the Green Hornet, it has been announced. Best known for directing Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Gondry replaces Stephen Chow behind the camera. Chow will remain in his role as the eponymous hero's sidekick, Kato, starring alongside Seth Rogen, who is most famous for roles in Anchorman, the 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up.
