The funniest sketch show on television at the moment
It's nonsense. It's ridiculous. It's wonderful.
A great release for this surreal sketch series. Series 1 is extremely uneven (show 5 is particularly weak), but there is some classic material scattered throughout, along with a wealth of unused material which should have been included in the actual programmes! The team really hit their stride, however, in series 2. The commentaries are also highly enjoyable.
I was only gonna give series one 3 stars, but some of the unused material included as a bonus is so good it bumps it up to 4 stars. The second run gets a no-nonsense 5 from me, as does the 2 disc package overall. If you like your humour a bit on the surreal side, or want to see what Simon Pegg, Catherine Tate and Tracy Ann-Oberman used to do, then this is highly recommended.
Fantasic!!! Both series 1 and 2 are funny. The cast are brillant. You must rent this you won't be disapointed.
Well Done!!!
