Great film if you love Sharukh Khan

Truly Friendship
By a customer , 03 Sep 2011I love Shahrukh Khan's films. What can I tell you? If you are a kind sensitive and emotional person you are going to love him movies, and probably make you cry. I like the way he introduce us to live in Indian villages, they are so poor ,and make us to think about it. Oustanding film to me.- Was this review helpful to you?

Irfan is the star
By a customer , 28 Jul 2011An enjoyable film with a number of flaws. The Hotel manager's scene as an 'acting' inspector was tedious. The SRK dance sequences seemed very out of place - why would they have that sort of dancing in a village? Although the montage of past films and action sequences were relevant.Irfan's acting was really good. It was easy to warm to him as a character and Lara Dutt and the children really completed the family. You wanted the best for them all especially Billu.- Was this review helpful to you?

Does he or doesn't he?

Irrfan is perfect as the struggling barber and the supporting cast are all big names so there is no over acting or silliness to contend with. The film keeps you guessing until the end about whether or not Billu really knows superstar Sahir Khan (played by SRK who isn't on screen much so don't watch this if you only want to see him!). I loved all of the songs, really upbeat and fun to watch. This is quite sad in parts but on the whole it is just a feel good film which I loved for its simplicity.- Was this review helpful to you?
