I have been doing Tae-Bo for around 5 years and thought this new DVD would make a change from my usual routines. The highlight of it was undoubtedly the inspirational and fascinating interview with Billy himself. The workout itself was disappointing in that there was no basic (ie shorter) workout as there are on most other Tae-Bo dvds and also i found the workout quite disjointed. I like Tae-Bo normally as the repetition of different exercises is good for toning and also gives you time to get used to the different exercises. However in this DVD Billy changed very suddently from one exercise to the other and also put the exercises together in a series of complicated formations which even as a devotee of 5 years I struggled to follow.
I wouldn't recommedn this DVD for a beginner just starting on tae-Bo- go for 'get Ripped' or 'Energise' instead. I t was still worth a rent however for the novelty value of a few different moves anyway.
have tried other billy blanks and this one is about the best, have purchased this one as the others seem to kill me after 5 minutes, this one is much more easy going.
I am a great fan of Billy Blanks and his Tae Bo workouts. I have been doing them for years so it is always good to have new dvd's to try out. This one was way too easy especially if you are quite fit. If you are new to Tae Bo then this will be okay for you. It contains most of his basic moves with a few extra variations; it is at a basic level for fitness so a good intro to Tae Bo. If you really want a good sweat on I always go back to the 'Get Ripped' dvd's!
