Billys not at his best but he is still very funny...By Jim from Bromsgrove UK , 14 Nov 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]The first session was at The Hammersmith Oden were Billy looked as if he had just come from a deserted island where he had been stranded for a number of years! However when he started the 'joke' about the limo driver I laughed untill I nearly cried.
Part two and he is in Glasgow and clean shaven, however his hair reminds me of an old red setter as it flaps about whilst he roams the stage. The jokes even if you have heard them before are still very fuuny.
If you are feeling down just rent this dvd it will cheer you up.

Good but not the bestBy a customer from Warwickshire , 24 Mar 2010Billy Connely is always good but thie may not be his best stuff. I was still laughing long after I'd watched it but earlier stuff is better.
Customer ReviewBy a customer from UK , 23 Jun 2008I like Billy Connolly. So much so that I already own two of his previous DVDs, and have seen many of the others. However, for me this one was a let-down. To begin with, the first show on this DVD is mediocre. There were maybe only two or three laugh-out-loud moments in the entire show. As some of the other reviewers have said, he does take a while to warm up, too. The second show was a surprise. Not because it was good (although it -is- very good), but because I'm guessing at least half of it is on his 2002 tour DVD, which I already own. Bottom line is, if you're new to Billy Connolly, then this is a good DVD for you to get, provided you skip the first show. The second show is hilarious for quite a lot of it, but if you already have the 2002 DVD, there's not that much point watching it (there's a few extras that aren't on the 2002 DVD, but not much), and therefore there's not much point getting the DVD. Two stars and a half, only because I still like the second show.
