Sir Elton John is in talks to take Billy Elliot back to the big screen. John wrote the music for the theatre adaptation of the 2000 movie, which was written by Lee Hall and directed by Stephen Daldry. "Billy Elliot" star Jamie Bell has reportedly signed up to star in Peter Jackson's forthcoming "King Kong" remake. The ballet dancing young Brit plays a cameraman who accompanies filmmaker Carl Denham (played by US actor Jack Black) into the jungle on Skull Island, in search of the giant gorilla. Jamie Bell has landed the lead role in Steven Spielberg's movie adaptation of schoolboy cartoon hero Tintin. The Billy Elliot actor will appear alongside James Bond star Daniel Craig, Toby Jones, Mackenzie Crook and Shaun of the Dead co-stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn.
