A BREATH OF FRSH AIR!!!
By Hopkins (2 reviews) , 27 Mar 2013[Highly rated reviewer]
It's so freakin good. the story is amazing, especially for a first person shooter - in fact, it is one of the best first person games i have ever played. Graphics animations, lighting and art design are phenomenal, with an outstanding cast of voice actors to drive an incredible story. Fighting was super fun too, but it's all about the game's narrative. DEFINITELY 1 Of A Kind!- Was this review helpful to you?

(58)So dissapointing compared to the original two games
By Aggmeister2 (7 reviews) from St Albans , 15 May 2013As a huge fan of the first two games I knew there would be some differences as it is based in the sky as opposed to underwater and it wasn't going for the slightly scary approach. However, it became mundane very quickly and the bosses are just made tougher by taking more ammo to kill without any real strategies involved. The vigours are not as good either. The worst bit of this game is that once it is completed you can only repeat levels with your original ammo and vigour not what you have accumulated so this means that a lot of achievements are missed (such as unlocking secret doors and finding all upgrades) and not worth the time to repeat the entire game. There is no multiplayer which would add a great dimension to the game which was a lot of fun in bioshock 2.- Was this review helpful to you?

Not that great!
By MattyMattMatt (1 review) , 14 May 2013Personal opinion....but I thought the game was poor. Played it for a few hours and it reminded me of a kids game with violent elements, great graphics, voice acting good but ended up being repetitive gameplay wise. Just a bog standard FPS for me nothing special.- Was this review helpful to you?

Bioshock Infinite - Must Play, Great FPS!
By a customer , 13 May 2013Having never played the previous 2 games in the Bioshock series I was somewhat unsure about this but my goodness is this a good game! I think that the plot line is super; highly engaging, with lots of twists and turns, with many points to make you think and ponder. After my monitor blew up I have been forced to play the game on a very old (10 years+) boxy tv and I can say that even on that the graphics of the game look very good; there is detail, quality colours, fluid movement, the works! The settings within the game are brilliant with some being particularly picturesque which contrasts nicely with the plot of the game (IMO). I enjoyed the variety of abilities you can gain, the different kinds of enemies and the choice of weaponry. I even enjoyed simple things like the variety items you can collect/consume for health purposes etc. I am close to completing the game currently and cannot wait to see how the story winds up. I have been told there are a couple of references to the other Bioshock games which are hard to spot but there if you have the attention to detail. There's not much I didn't like about the game really; sometimes the ghost arrow that's there for guidance can be a bit awkward to follow and generic characters (like enemies and members of the public) can start to look a bit, well, generic, I did not like this repetition of how samey they all appeared all of the time but I understand they can't all be unique. If I could change or add anything I would like to see there be more choices for you to make as an individual and for there to be more environment/character interaction that's not necessarily key to the plot. There seems to be a lot to interact with but there is little option to do so; having this facility might be fun. In case it is of interest to anyone (if it makes a difference), I played the game on the medium and hard settings (you can switch during gameplay).- Was this review helpful to you?

Game of the year contender
By IGN (29 reviews) , 12 May 2013Quite simply amazing storyline, with a wonderful world created with such immensity that it's hard believe it took 3 years to develop such an almost perfect world for such an amazing story. I haven't played the previous 2 but now I certainly will. Not only a rent but a definite buy- Was this review helpful to you?
