Good fun. Lots of bionic people in this one. The film plot holds up suprisingly well. Think of a fore runner to '24' with lots of subtefuge. It is set at the start of the 'glasnost' era at the end of the cold war between russia and US. It resolves around a plot to disrupt the 'Friendship Games' with the aim to undermine world peace.

The special effects of the film are as limited as the OSI security, but as in '24' the production overall is good enough to overcome too many plot holes.

This helped by some good solid performances . Lee Majors as an aging bionic man is wooden but good. Linsday Wagener doesn't have a lot to do. They lack a bit of chemistry but it doesn't seem to matter. This is because Sandra Bullock as the new bionic girl is great. It makes you wonder why they didn't follow on with a new TV series.

This was an enjoyable watch. Just don't get expecting too many special effects and if you keep in mind the original 'six million dollar man' and the time it was made you will enjoy it.

They story is terrible, acting awful and I just couldn't bring myself to waist any more of my free time so called it a day 20 mins before the end. Some things from childhood are best left with the memories that were.
