Being a jazz fan I decided to give this film a go. I have to say that I agree with another reviewer who complained about the flashbacks. I found it difficult to tell at what part of Birds life we were looking at as it seemed to zip backwards and forwards. Forest does a fantastic acting job but for me, the film itself was just a bit of a let down.
