Bjork is the ultimate in modern singer songwriters and this concert shows her at her finest. Backed by accomplished musicians and a real Innuit choir she belts out a majestic set which compels you to watch again and again. My favourite Bjork track of all time (Hyperballad) is featured and as she finishes singing it the more demure audience at the ROH stand up to give rapturous applause.
Offbeat and quirky she may be but this diminuitive lady entertains with aplomb!
A very good recording of a very good performance. Alot of the songs are from the album Vespertine, which I haven't heard in full. I would advise hearing the album first to maximise enjoyment.
