    Definately NOT a christmas cracker...

More people were giggling in our screening than being scared. There is simply no atmosphere and very little real or implied horror in this run of the mill 'seen it all before' tinsel tosh. This revolved around 'Oh dear phones are down', 'oh dear everyone else in the other houses on campus have gone home for christmas...except us'... wow how strange !. Briefly, if you still believe in Santa... this may be for you, if like me you can work a kettle, you are far too gifted to find anything thrilling in this one. Theres snow way I want to see this again.

Scary - that something can be this awful

The only truly remarkable thing about this movie is that it out-B's all existing B movies. Even Michelle Trachtenberg appears bored with it and probably asked to be murdered as early as possible in the script.

    Brain Jar film

Seriously is this a comedy?...really funny/slasher....never scary just really funny!

Luckily its got hot chicks in it...the only saving grace....and i think the makers new that!

Wastes an hour and change of your time without thinking....makes i now what you did last summer look like an oscar winner!

    PLEASE READ!!!

I'm writing this to all fellow horror/thriller movie lovers out there. DON'T BOTHER with this film! I don't even recall why I put this title on my list, but I do wish I could get my hour & a half back. Being one to appreciate all efforts from the huge movie studios to the under-appreciated independent filmmaker in this difficult genre, Black Xmas did nothing but follow the typical boring predictable story lines, dialog, & so called 'gory scenes' (they must have had a sale on ketchup & glue somewhere). PLEASE take my advice: skip this & watch something else. You'll thank me, believe me!!!

    More bleak than black christmas......

poor plot, poor acting, very predictable, almost comical in places . Bit like Jason does scary movie? A must miss film if you are expecting a scary ,well written,thriller-horror.

    Awful!

First I just have to Say Paula Westwood has the funniest review I have ever seen. Seriously this movie was insultingly bad, only because im addicted to horror did we even see it at all. Terrible acting, plot, killers, just movie in general. Once one is in a body bag, dont they check your pulse before putting you in there?Absolutly absurd.

The worst film I've ever seen.

Seriously. A woeful horror remake made by someone who doesn't like horror films. This is a cynical cash-in on a genuine horror classic. Avoid.

    Wow this Film is awful....

At no point is this film remotely scary and the plot is ridiculous (even by dumb horror movie standards).

    Christmas Turkey

If you haven’t got your Christmas Turkey yet, you cant get a much bigger one than this. This will knock the stuffing out of you! If you have more brain cells than a mince pie, I wouldn’t go anywhere near this festive sludge.

    Pants!!

My heading says it all. I had very high hopes for this film even despite some reviews I had read, however they had been left for a good reason.

This is one of the worst films I have sat through in a long time. the story line was very dull and the acting equally so.

Don't have too much to say here as very very disappointed by this film. Wouldn't even recommend it for when it comes out on Sky or TV.

    oh my god

this was quite possibly the worst film i have ever seen in my life, it was boring, bad effects, no storyline. I could tell after the first 10 mins that it was not what i expected. I feel like someone owes me 90mins of my life, the only reason i watched it till the end is so i didnt feel like I had wasted one of my monthly rentals. I love horror films, and even cheesy horror films but this was in a different league. I strongly recommend that you dont waste your time with this poor excuse for a film!!! - you have been warned
