i enjoyed seagal's acting, but the storyline left a lot to be desired, worth a watch, but not twice
Steven Seagal must be trying to catch up with John Wayne on the number of movies he can 'knock out'. 'Black Dawn' was his 22nd and in 2005 there were four films released starring SS and three in 2006 and boy is the pressure showing.
In this odyssey about 'Black Operations' where yet another terrorist team are trying to leave a crater in North American real estate, SS is reprising his Jonathan Cold role from 'The Foreigner'.
Unfortunately Mr Cold stands like a stroke victim awaiting the stunt man to perform the active bits whilst SS performs the anguished visage scenes.
Steven, despite the eye candy (Tamara Davies), this was not your best moment on celluloid and you are better than this.
Nevertheless as one of his devoted following I shall continue to watch his movies, but usually on rental nowadays.
Whilst he is older than me, age never stopped Sean Connery, Michael Caine or Toshirô Mifune who were/ are still turning in good performances well into their seventies.
Sorry Steven but you must try harder at the quality, rather than the quantity!
