i enjoyed seagal's acting, but the storyline left a lot to be desired, worth a watch, but not twice
Steven Segal is well known for his easy watching action movies, for his purple heart, yellow ribbon and the old oak tree role and this movie is not too far from what you might expect, the budget is less than his most famous movies and Steven Segal himself is not quite up to the most adventurous of actions scenes but generally the film follows the usual pattern. Segal is ex CIA master of weapons and tactics and as normal is right in the middle of a whole lot of trouble, undercover agents, Russian terrorist, dirty cops, the whole lot. The plot is at first a little confusing and the action scenes seem to drag with long winded car chases so although the film was perfectly watchable it is unlikely you will take too many positives from the film. Overall this is a very average quality Segal film that ticks along well enough. Between 2 and 3 stars.
