    Craaaaaaaaaaap!

Possibly the worst film I've seen in years. Not funny and makes no sense! Absolute garbage! Avoid for your own sake!

    Manic Merinos

If you like a yarn about shawn of the dead meeting silence of the lambs then this is the film for you.

Shot with an Antipodean sense of humour that would make 'Dog Soldiers' look like 'Pride and Prejudice' this tale of Mother Nature running amok amonst the flock is a gem.

The landscape is magnificent, the cast are keen to impress and the plot is a tad gory.

Traumatised by his brother killing his pet lamb, Henry Oldfield has a phobia about sheep and in this tale of scheming siblings, it is just as well, because an accident by a well meaning tree hugger sets off a plot to rival any George Romero tale of the undead.

Certainly on a par with 'Shaun of the Dead' this film has done for New Zealand ruminant mammals what 'Hot Fuzz' did for the Somerset County Constabulary.

Whilst serious horror officionados may decry this sheepish tale, I am sure that most people will see the funny side of this film and enjoy the experience.

Yes it might have been better, however there was a basic quality to the film where the cheesey special effects did not offend and the plot flowed at a fair pace.

    Well worth the money!
