Possibly the worst film I've seen in years. Not funny and makes no sense! Absolute garbage! Avoid for your own sake!
This is a classic horror comedy (with the emphasis on the comedy). People are attacked by genetically mutated sheep - you cannot take that too seriously. However, it is very well done. The comedy tends to be the dry sort of comedy with some good one liners.
The most obvious comparison is with the cult film 'Brain Dead' made by Peter 'Lord of the Rings' Jackson early in his career (and also in New Zealand). In my opinion, this is better because the plot is more varied and moves at a better pace. I'm sure this film well achieve cult status - it certainly does not deserver to be written off as just another low-budget horror.
The production quality and acting is good (ignore those other review!). It does not have the Hollywood 'gloss' that some people may have come to expect, but that does not diminish the enjoyment of watching it.
