Elizabeth Montgomery proved once again that she could do more than comedies such as Bewitched with her convincing performance in this crime drama, which is based on a true story. She stars as Blanche Taylor Moore, a North Carolina widow respected in the community, who hides the secrets of childhood abuse and her resultant anger against all men. However, when two of her suitors die in similar ways, the town realises Blanche may not be all she seems. Tautly directed, this is a gripping story made all the more so by Montgomery's portrayal and the truth of the tale.
Watchable but overlong cop show with nothing very surprising about it once the plot is clear: TV movies have done just as well.

The script is tight, the plot great and the direction, lighting and sound are just what you would expect.
Nothing lets this film down at all.
This is a quite old film. But it is still very interesting. Bad blond lady again black good lady.. trivial but true story.

The 25-year-old star admits she slimmed down to squeeze into a catsuit to play Black Widow in the forthcoming sequel. But Johansson is outraged over reports she went to extreme lengths to lose weight for the part. She tells America's Glamour magazine, "There was this rumour mill cranking out stories that I had lost 14 pounds Read more
