Funnier than a strange shaped turnip!

What can I say about this series? Clearly the best comedy program on TV, and the second series, set in Tudor times, is the best.
Blackadder as a lord in the court of Queen Elisabeth 1st; conniving, scheming and very, very clever.
Cutting off heads, sailing round the cape of good hope and getting married to a servant called Bob! Its all in here, including the best portrayal of any queen in the history of TV. Rent it, laugh your socks off!- Was this review helpful to you?

Still brilliant after all these years
By PK from Essex, England , 28 Sep 2006I have to say I had only seen the re-runs of BA on satellite complete with damn add breaks. To see them like this end to end just makes you realise how good this, and series 3, realy were. Health warning....

All 4 series of blackadder are without a doubt perfect for a night in and some fun. Wish they did more. The Best of the Lot
