I want my life back
By Glazzard (5 reviews) from Tunbridge Wells , 08 Jul 2009[Highly rated reviewer]
Why, Why, Why did I keep watching, bad acting crap story line that dramaticaly differs from what I have read. Did it copy Pirates of the Carribean or the other way around because it seems to incorporate all three films. I have ordered a book to get an accurate retelling of the story of Edward Teach so sure as hell won't be renting this again.- Was this review helpful to you?

Avoid!!!
By ohmrdarcy (38 reviews) from Paignton , 10 Jul 2009I rented this and was looking forward to watching it, for me mainly it was due to the fact Richard Chamberlain and Rachel Ward were going to be acting in it ,the first time they had been in the same thing since 'The Thorn Birds', Oh dear the acting was dire, the set pieces weren't realistic at all, I can't believe I even made myself watch it to the end, my advice stay well clear, I mean the pirates even had a Hollywood white smile for God sake!! AVOID!!!- Was this review helpful to you?
