In the third century of the second calendar, after the chaos of the intergalactic wars, a powerful dictatorship has risen to dynamic proportions and engulfed most of the populated worlds. Liberty has become a crime punishable by death, and the majority of the population lives in a drug-induced state of docility. This tyrannical authority fulfils George Orwell’s prophecy of 1984 to its most terrifying extremes. This government is known as the Federation. Each world has its share of rebels who either turned to crime or the Resistance. This is the story of one such group of rebels, led by a man named Blake. His group is largely composed of escaped convicts, thieves and smugglers, who are thrown together by chance. Episode List: Redemption; Shadow; Weapon; Horizon; Pressure Point; Trial; Killer; Hostage; Countdown; Voice From The Past; Gambit; The Keeper; Star One

Or you can rent each disc individually:
after a relatively interesting first series (though hardly a total rip-snorter), this second series is an enormous let-down
each episode struggles to hold interest for the full 50 minutes (often losing-steam within the first 10 minutes) - the acting reaches new heights of HAM - the dialogue between the baddies tries to aspire to Shakespeare, but the only 'Richard the Third' I could think of was rhyming-slang - the plots were unimaginative (land on planet - have a run in with baddies - escape)
to be honest, I couldn't care less if any of the 'heroes' lived or died
This brings back so many related memories....yes, some of the episodes are lifted from Trek.....but the BBC had stated no more Trek ever!!!...... and B7 was the next best homegrown Sci-Fi.....looks dated now....but the story lines and anticipation every week until eventually Blake was found and killed, was well worth it.......The world seemed to end that Monday evening......years back in my youth !!!!........GREAT..
