Carrot-Topping Great!

Bleach is fantastically written and one of the best anime series i have ever seen.. it has everything from romance to blood and gore which absoloutley does it for me! I actually had it introduced from a friend who had read the manga series and she said that it was the best series she had also seen in a long time also. It has guys from big swords to big hearts in this series and can be both hilarious and hysterical at the same time.. It has a great plot and although there are now movies out (but in japanese) i suggest you watch the series first because otherwise it will be a load of gobbly-de-gook! Ichigo is a hardass in this series and has the coolest colour hair that you will ever see in any other manga and i dont really like Rukiya she is also quite a cool character also.. but no-one can beat the guy in the green and white hat although i cant remember his name and doesn't come up until later he is one of the best and watch this cos this is just one of the best anime series of a lifetime! ..- Was this review helpful to you?

So this is bad anime...

It was childish and pretty rubbish really. Very low form of art. I'm not saying i didn't enjoy it, it was ok, but if your looking for something more than mindless watching, go for something else.- Was this review helpful to you?

Bleach - Makes your brights brighter and whites whiter!
By deadstoned (1 review) from Grantham , 10 Apr 2008Ok first off Im a recent friend of anime after getting myself hooked on Naruto, just so you know where im coming from.
Well this is a more grown up anime with plenty of swearing and gory scenes, with great characters and a rock solid storyline. The first 5 episodes of any anime are weird as you try to get into and the same is true here, but after them it becomes awesome. Also as this anime is also classed as a comedy I would rate it a 8/10 comedy easy.

Unexpected Delight
By a customer from Manchester , 25 Feb 2008I decided to watch Bleach on the recommendation of a friend. I had watched other Animes before and become a fan of the Genre, though I was under the misconception that Bleach was not as good as some other well known Animes. Upon watching this my opinion took a 180 degree turn as this is one of the best storylines I have come across since DeathNote. I took a particular liking to the character of Chad, whose personality was interesting to say the least. Best Anime for newcommers!
By a customer from Swansea , 11 Jan 2008If your really new and just getting into Anime then you'll love this series. My friends and I have read the manga and we love this aswell. It's funny has some brilliant themes in it and the action is superb and it also has hardly any of the dreaded FILLER EPISODES.
